Disclaimer: Please, don't get the wrong idea from the blog title: I'm not a violent person, I just happen to like the quote. I have seen it posted in various forums and mailing lists, and I certainly don't take credit for it. However, I do find it relevant to my situation, because I often find myself using XML more often than I should.

So, even though my XML abuse is based in an obsessive-compulsive desire to apply structure to every last bit of unstructured content, perhaps others will be able to use what I've learned in a much healthier way.
